Let’s Talk Burgers, Shall We?

Over on Instagram one of my chums, Eat Stay Love posted the photo below:

Ahhh a #pnw institution. You know I have never had a burger 🍔 from @dicksdrivein. I went vegetarian when I was a kid so I’ve actually never taken a bite – but have brought visitors and friends to taste the hype. Drove past this #edmondswa location today and business was booming. ⚡️⚡️So tell me- what is your favorite burger joint?

Their post led to a discussion about great burger places in the region. Funny, but I realize I’ve experienced many and have my “definitive” list of favorites, which stretch from Seattle north to Bellingham.

• Red Mill– Seattle – Phinney Ridge (they now accept credit cards!!!!! About 1/2 the times I’ve been there, I’ve needed to scurry down the street to an ATM. Glad I can put that in the past.)
• Taki Tiki – Edmonds
• Red Onion – Mountlake Terrace
• The Ranch – Bothell
• Nutty’s Junkyard Grill – Arlington
• Bob’s Burgers and Brews – from Everett to Lynden

This my reflexive list. What’s missing? What are your favorites? I’d really love to hear them.

Several years ago, I considered doing a road trip focused on the best burger places. Might be time to consider that one again. What do you think?
