Word of the Day #Haiku: Argonaut

Sea’s ungentle care
Focused malice against them.
Drifting Argonauts

Where else shall I live?

Where else shall I live?
This close to the mountains and sea
Near urban delights.

The ferry home

Ferry drifts westward
Sun warmed winds, which still chill me
Eagles’ wings lifting

Delighting in clouds

Awoke to grey skies
Gently blending blues and greys
Visions of my home

Seattle Sunlight’s Adagio

A warm weekend, my window open.
Early morning coolness flows in
Birdsong drifting upon this,
Early morning sky, gentle growth
From deep blue, adding reds,
Purple highlighting the mountains
Slowly growing brighter.
Sunlight’s adagio

A weekend Seattle haiku

Though just barely May
Flip-flops emerge from closets
Braving biting chill

A Dream-Laden River

Drifting brain
Mind floats, weightless.
Flurry of data
Carries thoughts upon
A dream-laden river.

First Poem This Summer

Dreams laze across summer sunbeams.
Flickers of dust briefly present
Then lost upon life’s currents;
Gentle summer breeze.

Dream Flows

Nighttime moves below my dreams.
Flowing visions upon clouds.
Drifting skywards amongst the stars.
Futures born amidst.

Father’s Day

About fatherhood:
Hard yet wonderful journey.
Happy Father’s Day!
